I'm moving house and upgrading to 900mb direct fiber, I've got an aging AC68U and AX68U Pro, I want the BE88U because of all the ports, but why no wifi6? it seems weird. I mostly use ethernet anyway but if I'm splashing out on a new toy I wanna get the top kit.

I don't want to move away from anything I can use Merlin on, for starters. Been using Asus routers all my life and I'm just, I know how to work em' now so.

Anyway should I just get the BE88U and call it a day, or if I wait a few months are we gonna get some even better stuff coming out?

I guess I'll just use the older routers as repeaters around the house? even though it doesn't really need it anyway (At least not on either of the current ones I have.)

Edit: Also I'm seeing a lot of troubleshooting posts re; the BE88U - is it janky af and not stable or something?
