I had my RT-n16 at service center, because it died. They exchanged it to new one, but before I got new rt-n16 I ordered rt-n65U.
Now, I thinking which one is better (performance, stability?)
Im have connected 1 3G usb modem and usb 2.0 hdd.

BTW, I placed router to shelf and had serious problems with old rt-n16 and new too. On the roof, my neighborhoods have their wifi antenas with APs. It is possible, that their wifi signal is too strong to interfere with my router placed on the shelf under the roof indors? My wifi signal was losing, router was rebooted frequently...

Today I moved it to new location and all router functions working fine, with no reboot, no wifi loss.?

So, which router is better and I have to save it at home?

There's no definite answer to that question. The N16 benefits from external antennas, while the N56U benefits from its 5 GHz band. The answer will depend on your environment and your particular needs, these are two quite different products rather than a straight descendent.
