ASUS RT-N56U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.374.4422
Security related issues:
1. Fixed lighthttpd vulnerability.
2. Fixed cross-site scripting vulnerability (CWE-79).
3. Fixed the authentication bypass (CWW-592).
4. Added notification to help avoid security risks.
5. Fixed network place(samba) and FTP vulnerability.

Improvement:
1. Redesigned the parental control time setting UI.
2. Updated multi language strings.
3. Adjusted FW checking algorithm.
4. Adjusted Time zone detecting algorithm.
5. Improved web UI performance.
 
Anyone running this firmware should run a port scan to see if port 445 is accidentally open.

Edit: my mistake, I misread the title of this thread. If you have AC56 or AC68 and are running 4422, you should run a port scan.

Firmware installed.....runs fine, range and wireless speed seem good.
gaming and torrenting at the same time.
went to the link and got this

but it did say :

Where did you find this? I don't see it on the ASUS website.

so people already use/test this firmware
how the performance? better or almost same like previous version ?

also i read somewhere in forum, that last beta (3.0.0.4.374.2239) have issue with browser when login to admin panel, if i didnt miss-read
it causing freeze on some browser like firefox?
is that issue fixed on stable 3.0.0.4.374.4422 release?
 
I'm runninng it and haven't ran into problems (not much time to test everything obviously) but the speed and range seem good....
I can finally get good throughput with torrenting and not laggen while gaming....
I'd say it's worth trying out.
