New Around Here
Hi all, first time poster here.

So I finally, after 2-3 years, figured I'd upgrade the firmware for my router. I downloaded the newest firmware from Asus, official one, and followed the instructions. It all ended up stuck, now in rescue mode.

I've gone thru forums and troubleshooting, but I still can't get it back online.
This is what I've done:

1: Downloaded and installed the reacue program from Asus. Disconnected everything from the PC except for power and Ethernet. Set up the network properties as stated in the program.
2: Unplugged the power of the router.
3: Connected the Ethernet to the LAN port, pressed the reset button and held it in while I turn the router back on. Release the reset button when the router starts to flash rescue mode flashes again. Also tried the same with WPS button.
4: Tried to upload the firmware. Tried two different ones now.
5: Program says it can't find the router.

This is where I'm stuck. I don't have an old router here so writing this from my phone while my the family is getting more and more annoyed about not having internet. Any solutions guys? Would be greatly appreciated!
