RT-N66U Client Mode?

DCP

New Around Here
Hello!

I got a WLAN Modem/Router from my ISP yesterday. I dont want any unnecessary Wireless Networks in my home but I cant deactivate WLAN on the Modem of my ISP.

So I want to turn off WLAN on the rt-n66u and plug it on the ISP Router as a Client to access the USB HDD plugged in the rt-n66u.

Well, at least thats the plan, but I cant figure out how to configure the rt-n66u for this...

I already flashed the latest merlin built.

Thanks in advance!

I would say to put the Asus into AP mode, give it an IP address on the same subnet as the modem and then select not to broadcast the signal on the wireless tabs.

Call your ISP. I got mine to turn off the WLAN on the modem/router they supplied.
