HI Guys,
RT-N66U is updated to the latest current firmware which was available.
A new replacement BT Box arrived and its a 500gb G4 box (another oldish one), but on start up, it does not go through to the TV services or work.
Same thing happened to the older box (which packed in), but I managed to tweak the N66U via the WAN and LAN settings to get the TV box working. But that was about 2 years ago!
I need some help to see if anyone else has the latest updated tweaks to get this RT-N66U router to pick up the BT TV. Basically for about 2 months now and not getting any TV!
Old tweaks worked great for 2 years, but now nothing!
The TV box goes straight into a blue test screen when it starts up. I can enclose a picture, but dont know how too (I think, I have got the attachment to work)!
My setup is BT Infinity 2
White openreach box into the Asus router. Wired to switch box which is feeding another PC in the main room along with the BT BOX, Shield and a few other devices (all work apart from the BT TV Box).
This setup has worked great for the last few years, but this new replacement BT Box, is not picking up!
Grateful if anyone has BT TV and gone through WAN/LAN setup changes to get theirs to work.
Any advice please.
Cheers upfront
