RT-N66U VPN CLIENT Question

Hi i have a question

I have just installed Merlin's Firmware for RT-N66U and i LOVE IT.

One of the main reasons i installed Merlin's Version over the stock version was the VPN Client feature.

So here goes the question

I have setup the VPN client and it works PERFECT what i want to know is if there is a possibility to setup the client so only selected Hosts on the network goes through the VPN tunnel.

i have 8 devices connected to the router but i just want device 1 and 2 to use the VPN tunnel and the remaining 6 to use my normal internet connection.

Is there anyway to do this ?

It's not easy, but it should possible. I'm not sure on the details on how that could be implemented, but I suspect it would require having those devices use a static IP, and then create routing entries where you route any traffic from those static IP to go through the tunnel (and ensuring the tunnel is not configured to route all traffic).

Someone who has done this before might be better placed to tell you the details (or try doing a web search for something like "OpenVPN selective routing" or something similar).
