Hello,

I running 380.66_4 with open VPN enabled. I'm suspecting that OpenVPN is causing the router to hang. Since recently configuring it the router will come randomly unresponsive. I'm not sure why and looking into the system logs gives no explanation.

On July 16 8:45 AM I manually reboot the router. This is the second time the router had gone non-responsive in a number of days.
can't insert code it thinks it's a sql injection CloudFlare... POS...

So to be frank, I know this has happened for sure at least twice. I suspect the first time was on the 6/31/17 and the second was on the 7/16/17

I wasn't able to reboot the router until the 7/16/17 for the first hang.

Going to update to the latest firmware and try again but any help would be appreciated.

Basically, there is no reason in the logs why this should be happening no errors just stops responding.

I had unusual behaviour with _4 and even _6 on this same model. -beta4 seemed to improve things. Had about 8 or 9 occurences in the same time frame of router reports that the "ISPs DHCP was not functioning correctly".. so I gave the router numerous reboots until it worked, though it was never unresponsive to logging in. inquiries I made with the ISP all resulted in them claiming the service and modem were working fine ... so who really knows... ( I did try a Linksys router with DDWRT for comparision at one point and it got a WAN address from the modem each time with no complaints).

Now on the new .67_0 will see how it goes.

I'm on 380.66_6 now and it still continues.

Any suggestions on what I should capture? Going to 380.70 right now...

Yeah, I have the same type of random hangs on my 1900P, and its usually after about 2 weeks of uptime. I've resorted to scheduling a reboot every week to get around this problem.

It's strange I think it's hanging after reboot. I have a scheduled reboot every Sunday. It's Sunday and it stopped working. I wonder it's the reboot is not working correctly.

Ok confirmed, the scheduled Sunday reboot will make the router unresponsive unless I manually reboot the router...

Merlin can you confirm?!

Your router is crashing at shutdown time, apparently due to a read error from the flash. You can try reflashing the firmware, otherwise it might indicate your flash is defective.
