Voxel Satellite says not connected, when it is.

Ok

My satellite that was converted from RBR50 to RBS50 sometime ago says it's not connection to the router. See screenshot below

My router says the satellite is connected via 2.4GHz with Good backhaul status, see screenshot below. Devices connected to the Satellite works fine.

For some reason the satellite will not connect via 5GHz, not when it's close to the router 1m, or further away 5 or 10m.

What could be the cause for this strange behaviour?

Thanks, Thomasx

This sounds very similar to an issue I experienced a few months ago. It was a huge hassle, but I eventually resolved it by reverting the router and satellites to the stock firmware version 2.5.2.4, performing a factory reset, syncing the satellites, and then upgrading the firmware back to Voxels. I spent hours troubleshooting something very similar to your problem

Thank you! I will try this.

Did you then also experience that that this unit caused the router to drop internet connection frequently, "all the time" up and down?

I am not sure if I was actually dropping Internet connection or if it was connection to the specific satellite causing the drops. If I unplugged the satellite that was giving me problems issues would improve but I would have a giant dead zone in my house so I needed that satellite for coverage.

Also make sure you remember all of your settings if you do a lot of work forwarding etc. after the factory reset.
