Solved Setting channel on 6ghz doesn't seem to stick.

I'm running Merlin 3006.102.3 on my be96u and am explicitly setting the control channel for the 6Ghz channel to 69. This setting isn't applying as shown in the images. The routers seems to assign channel 1, whether I set it or choose auto. Could this be an Asus issue, or something else? Is anyone else seeing this issue as well?

It seems with wifi7 mode off in the main network page settings the system rejects the 320Mhz. I pegged to 160Mhz in the wireless general page for 6Ghz and all is well. My 6e devices scream now. :). I have no need for wifi7 devices at this point since I don't own any, which is why it's off. Also my mesh nodes don't support wifi7 so it's just best to keep it off till I upgrade those in the future.
