Setting up OpenVPN on AC87U

Hi Guys am a newbie here and like the topic says I am trying to setup OpenVPN between my home n/w on the ac87u and another outside network. This is in order to access a LAN machine on my network. I followed the instructions on this page http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/othe...-up-and-using-openvpn-on-asus-routers?start=2 but am stuck while pinging the OpenVPN router LAN IP address as it does not ping to the router. My LAN is running on the 11.11.11.1 as the router broadcast.

Cheers,

Guys quick update, after setting up the gateway as 10.8.0.2, since its the default gateway for TAP-Win32 adapter as detailed here http://superuser.com/questions/756362/openvpn-connected-but-not-routing-ping-test-fails I can now ping the router via VPN tunnel but am not able to ping and machine in LAN. I suspect routing tables might be amiss, but am not really sure. I've also disabled all my firewalls both on client side and router side.
