Show IP address of DNS servers- good or bad idea for feature?

I have an idea for a feature- have the IP addresses of the DNS servers displayed when you select to have them autoconfigured in the firmware. I thought this might be a good feature, especially considering the uptick in router malware that changes your DNS servers. Maybe it would be even better if a nslookup was included, perhaps? What do you think?

If you go to Network Map and click on the big Internet Status button it will show you your WAN settings including DNS servers.

OK, it's not as obvious as DD-WRT's status page, but the info is there if you hunt for it.

I have seen that status page, I think it would make more sense to display the DNS servers near where you select them as automatic. Is it just me? ;)

Another question, when my system initializes (or with an nvram show|grep dns) three DNS servers are shown. When I look in the gui at the DNS servers, two out of the three are shown. Why is that third DNS server missing?

I suppose you could use the "DNS Server1/2" fields from the manual assignment as a read-only display of the current DNS servers.

I only see 2 DNS servers (except for IPv6 and the DNS Filter settings). What are the variable names?

My ISP also hands out 3 DNS servers. They all get added to wan0_dns, with the ip's separated by spaces. They are also entered into /tmp/resolv.conf to be picked up by dnsmasq.

This means that all the users who have three DNS servers automatically assigned will need to do a nvram show|grep dns to see all of them, since the GUI only shows two, right? Or is there another way to show the DNS that I'm not thinking of?

They are logged in the syslog by dnsmasq. Do a search for 'nameserver' (without the quotes).
