Hello all first I'd like to thank everyone for there help and RMerlin for his awesome firmware.
I am having difficulty with my network that I am afraid is beyond my current knowledge base. I have a site to site vpn using Open VPN the server side is a netgear r8000 "stock firmware" at my home and the client is a a RT-AC66R with the merlin firmware at my farm "slow DSL". Both routers have DHCP turned on they are both on the same subnet i have set each router up with separate IP address blocks. Basically what is happening is all my devices on the Client side are being routed using the Client router, but some of my devices at home behind the server router are utilizing the client router as the gateway which is causing a significant bottleneck because of the horrible upload speed at where the client router is. I'm not using this VPN to route Wan traffic only to connect the two networks for local traffic for IP cameras, working from either place, etc.
