Thanks all , looks like I'll be returning my ax92u as soon as it gets here . I'll wait for the ax1100 to be released .
Guess i'll stick with the ac5300 and ac3200 for now , not impressed with the performance being reported

I've had mine for a week now, and I'm pretty happy with the performance on the latest firmware running one as a router and one as an AIMesh node with Wired backual. Hitting around 600 Mbps on the 5Ghz-2 band with our iPhone 11 and 11 Pros in the house (I have the 5Ghz-2 band set to AX mode only), hitting around 200-400 Mbps on the 5Ghz-1 band for most other 5Ghz compatible devices (laptops, iPads, Fire TV's, etc), and hitting about 50-75 Mbps on the 2.4 Ghz band for most IOT devices like smart switches/plugs. Haven't had any random reboots or drops really either {knocks on wood}.

then it is not worth it for me I'mm getting over 587Mbps now on both 5ghz bands , I'll wait for something much better than this

587Mbps with the AC routers? That's really good. What type of devices are you seeing that with? Most of my AC devices and routers were capping at 200-300 with my previous NetGear ORBI RBK50 set before. But, that set is only AC3000.

I get around 750mbps consistently on my AC devices as well. It’s rare to see it under 500mbps whenever I check it. I have the RT-AX92U out in the backyard and it ALWAYS provides 750-800mbps. Maybe I’m just lucky?

If I may ask, what type of devices and how are you checking your speeds? Are these devices on the 5Ghz-1 or 5Ghz-2 band?

I sit in the back yard on my iPhone 11 Pro and a 2018 iPad Pro so a mix of AC and AX devices. I use wifi Sweetspots app to measure connection speed. I don’t see any difference in speed between AX and AC, both are super fast. As we speak I’m getting over 600mbps in the yard connected to the RT-AX92U. I’m sitting about 12 feet away from it. It’s in the grey box on the shed.

both 5.1 and 5.2 ,all different types of clients , 2 realtek ac clients one Asus RP 68u in bridge mode , getting the connection speeds reported by the router and client devices , connection rate is NOT transfer rate although it has increased with the last few FW updates and client updates . let me add my clients are 40 to 60 feet from the router

I also get good speeds for clients on the AC channel on the AX92u. Ours is a busy network with lots of active clients. Low pings and stable throughput under load was one of the main factors for us choosing the AX92u over other mesh solutions. All the other meshes we tried suffered from ping spikes and jitter.
