Actually, thinking about it, it does seem silly to me that the reset button is on the WPS page and also that when you click on it, you don't get any feeback or warnings about what it has done, i.e., renamed your Wi-Fi SSIDs and removed all security from them.

That's exactly what I was thinking. You wouldn't expect a reset button on one page to reset the settings on another.

In which case maybe there's a bug whereby when you enable WPS it resets the SSID's. That would be pretty easy to check.

Known issue - when enabling WPS, it will reset the SSID's to default and make it an open network.

I've just done some tests on my router and simply switching on WPS and using it doesn't reset the SSID's, so it seems that it's only clicking on the reset button that causes it to do that. Given that is the case, I would have thought it would be relatively straightforward to move the reset button to the general tab where it logically belongs (and perhaps at the same time, provide a brief explanation of what it actually does).

The RT-AC68U on current factory firmware - I have a loaner device, and it's something I noticed during testing - if WPS is disabled, and one enables it, this particular device reset the SSID's and WPA/WPA2 settings (to disabled).

Just saying...
