I've been reading a few forums on how to set up the Netgear R7000 to work properly with my ISP (Sky UK) and among other things, after flashing DD-WRT, I should run the following command:

iptables -I INPUT -p udp --sport 67 --dport 68 -j ACCEPT

Can someone explain to me what it is?

P.S.
To NETGEAR Guy: Why not giving an R7000 to the great Voxel ? And all the R7000 owners could enjoy his fantastic firmware !

it opens DHCP ports in the firewall

Voxel has so far created code for the R7800 and R9000...he's of course more than welcome to work on the R7000...

I believe Voxel didn't release firmwares for the R7000 because he doesn't own it, so perhaps Netgear could present him with a brand new R7000 :)

And something maybe you could send him something as well. ;)
