Hello -

My wife recently purchased a Smarthings starter kit. She wants to start off small and branch out a bit. Her main wishes are sensors for the garage doors, and the ability to turn on the lights when we are not home and a water sensor by the sump pump. I know nothing about smart homes or how to set one up. Looking for some advice, do we keep the Smartthings starter kit and build off that? If not, what's the best way to accomplishing what my wife wants?

Thanks for your time!

Yes, keep the kit, and just search for the sensors you like the most, for adding sensors/devices is as simple as press a button and follow 3 steps on your phone
