Static IP for aimesh ap's?

ok here is my setup I have a ac5300 as my main router, I have 2 ac86u as my AP in different parts of the house. If i go into the main router and set a static IP for both of the ac86u to grab the IP I want them to have. It works until i add them to the aimesh, then it seems it ignores that static up setting on the main router and grabs its own. I have the dhcp range starting at octtet 65 and have the static set below that address but when the AP is added to the mesh it grabs am ip above that octet. ow can i force it the use the IP i want it to use?
