Hi
I am facing a strange issue..
I have an AC66u with the newest merlin build: 3.0.0.4.374.35_4
I have a fiber-router from my ISP which is running as follows:
I bought a static IP from my ISP to be able to use my asus as main router with dhcp etc.
IP settings
10.0.0.1 with dhcp limited to 10.0.0.2-10.0.0.5
a cat6e cable to my asus router
wan port: 10.0.0.2
lan range: 192.168.1.2-192.168.1.254
All my devices are connected to my asus with either wifi or cat6e cables.
if I run a speedtest on laptop with cable:
186Mb/s down - 184Mb/s up
http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/3193012056
If I take the speedtest with cable directly into the ISP router I get:
461Mb/s down - 729Mb/s up.
http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/3192970885
I tried the test again with the same cable that normally goes in my asus.. same result.. around 460Mb/s down - 729Mb/s up.
So I know the cable is delivering speeds well above the 200~ I am getting via my asus.
So the question is.. where's the problem.
I checked QoS.. which is off..
Any ideas where I might start? any info you need to help solve the problem?
