Switch to Merlin with current settings?

Hi

Just bought an AC66U and didn't discover Merlin until I finished configuring the router (and found the lack of options to tweak to get what I want from a it...) so first question, is it possible to backup the settings now and restore them after switching to Merlin?
Also have two EA-N66 as repeaters set up, will these still be working or do I have to reconfigure them?

You can safely upgrade from that version without having to reset to factory defaults. All your settings will be preserved and used.
