Have you used the demo web sites for these vendors? Read the user forums?
4K streaming needs wired gigabit ethernet, not WiFi to TVs.

Without more specifics, either will be fine. The differences are slight.

Hello

Thanks for the reply both of the tv s are wired
But on the site of qnap it say that it can stream 4K and the synology i cannot find something
I hope some one have some info

Thanks

call or email Synology sales. Data is data, 4K or not, presuming no on-the-fly transcoding (which isn't practical at 4K).

The CPU in the Synology is too weak for 4k transcoding....(Atom C2538) - I'd definitely get the QNAP. Even the entry level TVS-471 has far more horsepower, and the CPU can even be upgraded.
Even if you're not transcoding ever. the ATOM CPU will be a lot slower than the QNAP for plenty of things.

Be aware that there is a newer version of the TVS-471 coming out this month, it's a little more expensive but it has far more bells and whistles, it's called the TVS-682.

Good luck!
