I have tried the 'Dark Mode' for Chrome extension, but it doesn't play well with many of the other sites i visit.
Unfortunately, the options only allow you to disable it for specific sites. I would rather it have the option to enable it for specific sites. Unless of course I have missed something.

I also have glare problems. I'm checking out alternative themes. Hang in there for a bit.The large amount of very light real estate, it is too bright to be comfortable. I have viewed form 2 desktops and 2 laptops and it burns my eyes.

Yes, but now everything is in bold text, and I've lost the highlighting of read/unread threads.I've done a little bit of tweaking to darken things down. Still looking into other templates. Maybe will let users choose light/dark.

It seems fluid but with a maximum page width set? How does it look without a width limit?
This is how it looks currently in 1440p. Previous forum took all width.

I always just use New Posts link.
Despite the "heavier" content, the forums performance still seem as good, if not even better than before. That's with currently around 500 visitors online.
