New Around Here
I constantly, on a weekly basis, do check if new signature and or firmware update is available to our home RT-AX86U router. But now again trying to check from the admin panel just get's you the notification:

The router cannot connect to ASUS server to check for the firmware update. Please download the latest firmware from ASUS Product Support Site and do manually upgrade. Check on FAQ for more instructions.

This happened even with an earlier version too and was finally solved when I found, DL and installed a newer version from Asus support site. Then it worked again for a time (think at least 2firmware upgrades).... But now this is happening again, since a month or so ago. I really don't want to have to surf to Asus site every time I check the firmware version....
Has anyone found a solution for this? Or does this now hang until next FW will be available to our RT-AX86U router?

And yes, I do want to check these myself (had bad experiences with auto-update in the past) -- I have a bookmark list for all my devices that I need to check for new firmware ... And as wrote I do this on a weekly basis...
(And RT-AX86U has the newest FW v.3.0.0.4.388_24243 installed)
