New Around Here
Hi, i haven't been overly active here but i have followed this forum now and then (because i've used the Asus AC68u router for quite some time with Merlin firmware most of the time. As i'm living in a 3-story building (with teenage kids who likes the occational online game play) of course i have suffered from the ping issue (and coverage). My solution was to buy 3 pieces of the TPLink deco 75 pro and setup a mesh network (bottom floor hard-wired to one unit, then 2nd and 3rd floor using back-haul using the 6Ghz band where most if not all of the devices connected uses the 5Ghz band). This has actually worked extremely well for everybody.

I'm currently on a 600/50Mbit plan and for most of my wireless machines (almost all of them uses Intel AX210 or derivatives) i can achieve 633/54Mbit when using Ookla speed test and this is good enough for me (and i realize that everyones mileage may vary).

If i can bring any concrete substance to my story above, it would be the design of the units. The TP-links melts in into every context quite nicely (matte wite and discrete) but the Asus units i looked at at the same time, they really remind you of some death star 1 ships in all fairness (not for every home imho ;)).

A link to the product page would be nice:
