My 225v3 gives the option to enable or disable the SSID Broadcast.

I was hoping to connect my 2.4Ghz IoT devices to my specific "IoT" SSID and then disable the broadcast so it is hidden and not available for others to try and connect to.

However when I disable the broadcast all of the connected devices are disconnected.

Is "hiding" the SSID an option on these units?

I did not try that but you can create an ssid and make it invisible so that only that device connect to it . Plus you can do mac filters once all devices are up and running

You add ssid and can’t make that alone stop broadcasting it

He has queries about hiding ssid disconnect all connected clients which wasn’t the case for that I showed him creating new ssid will not disconnect already created active ssid connected clients.

Plus I told him to do mac filter once all the devices are connected.
