Swap file should help with transmission. First I followed the update and upgrade process in this post for entware and the problem disappeared re: cpu usage...worth a try..just type the command he wrote in bold letters into a telnet session exactly as it's written and let it do all it's updates including an update for transmission. When it's completed issue the reboot command in telnet and see if the problem goes away...good luck
