Hello,

My home network consists of a linksys e4200 v1., a couple switches and cat 5e cable wired across the apartment. Regularly here's what connects

The 5ghz network is mixed mode, 20 or 40mhz channels
auto channel selection and SSID broadcasting enabled
2.4ghz is mixed mode with 20mhz only and auto channel as well.

DHCP is enabled.
main desktop via wired (win 7 with homegroup configured)
original WiFI model iPad
New retina display iPads
Ps3 (wired)
Hp envy 17 with wireless 6200 AGN card via both wireless and wired
HP envy 15 with 5300 card I think via both wireless and wired
2 iphone 4 via wifi
1 iphone 4s via wifi
Apple TV (newest model)

I use home sharing with iTunes and airplay with the ipads and iphones. After disabling WMM, QOS, and uPNP I still get a disconnection every hour or so for 20-30 seconds. It happens on every device.

I have reset the router to factory, messed with every wireless setting I have found to mess with and nothing has fixed the issue.

Is there some setting that is messing me up somewhere I dont know about?

What modem and ISP do you have?

What IP subnet are you using, the default 192.168.1.1?

The problem may have started out when we got the new iPads, but I'm not 100% sure. Is there a section of the modem, router, or any of the connections I have on my computers or other devices I can view a log which would possibly indicate the problem?

I thought it might have been an IP conflict, but your modem is bridged, so no conflicts there. You might want to try DD-WRT, Tomato, or older(if current, otherwise update it) firmware versions from Linksys. It could be a bug in the firmware, if not it most likely is a hardware problem with the router. You might also try forcing a IP change from Comcast, just clone any device's MAC address to the router and push the reset button on the modem. Do you use any static IP assignments on the clients?
