I actually ditched the Optware version of Transmission and went with Entware and that fixed my problem. The optimized settings help as well too, mainly in keeping my router from heating up too much because of CPU utilization.

Dear All

I have an Asus n55u with the last official firmware..
following the tutorial in the first page I formatted an usb-flash (7gb) in ext2, installed and uninstalled the download master , and finally via putty I installed transmission

now i have 2 problems

1. when I trying to download a torrent, it will be stopped after few mb, no "space available on usb-flash"

2. often the usb-flash is not available under "network resources", so transmission cannot link to router

thank you

Maybe you torrent file is greather than 4 gb, try to formatt the disk as ext3 and install from scratch.
Another issue could be with your download path, probably is pointing to router storage, look in settings.json.

the file was only 1.4 gb

ok I was copy-pasting , but it worked when i actually typed it out? I did have one time when i got the same error but ran it again and it worked fine.

the only thing that I did different is that I'm on my laptop via wi-fi could that make a difference? If so i don't know how? I'm a linux noob and I learned a lot from this experience :)

again TeHashX thanks very much for the tools and guides for this and cherokee web server they have served me greatly so far and im sure plenty of other people .

Hi

I keep getting this error each time I run the tutorial. I have a 32GB memory key on the router. Any help appreciated, thanks

Couldn't find Transmission's web interface files!

Users: to tell Transmission where to look, set the TRANSMISSION_WEB_HOME environment variable to the folder where the web interface's index.html is located.

Package Builders: to set a custom default at compile time, #define PACKAGE_DATA_DIR in libtransmission/platform.c or tweak tr_getClutchDir() by hand.
