Firmware:378.56_2
I have set up Openvpn server on my AC66U router and exported an .ovpn file. I imported the .ovpn file into OpenVPN client app on my android 4.4 device. The tablet connects OK and I can browse the hard drive attached to the router usb port OK. But when I open the browser it does not use the tunnel. It just goes through the normal route on the wifi network I am connecting from.
When I select "Direct clients to redirect Internet traffic" (and export a new .ovpn file just in case - newbie here with OpenVPN), restart VPN server, the android tablet will no longer connect and the browser times out. Unselecting "Direct clients to redirect Internet traffic" returns me to the position of accessing attached storage on the router, but internet is not routed through the VPN tunnel.
Can someone tell me how to solve this as I want all internet traffic to go through the VPN when I am in unsecured sites like a coffee shop or airport/public wifi?
Is the lack of response because I'm posting this in the wrong place?
