Hi!

The Asus N66U currently has OpenSSL 1.0.0j installed. How could I update it to the most current OpenSSL 1.0.1k?

I have entware installed, but I don't think that's of interest here?!

Thanks a lot!

You can't. Components such as AiCloud are linked against 1.0.0, and they are partly closed source so you can't just replace it.

If you are worried about security, my firmware has the latest 1.0.0 version (or at least it was the latest a few months ago when I last checked), so any security fix from 1.0.1 should also be there in 1.0.0.

Thank you. I've been mainly interested in the TLS 1.2 support of 1.0.1-versions compared to 1.0.0.

Not much that can be done about this unfortunately.
