Morning, I just updated my RT-AC68U to the latest Merlin firmware (380.68_4) however my DynDNS service which has been working perfectly, no longer works.

Logs below show:

Dec 1 09:35:03 watchdog: start ddns.
Dec 1 09:35:03 rc_service: watchdog 484:notify_rc start_ddns
Dec 1 09:35:03 ddns_update: ez-ipupdate: starting...
Dec 1 09:35:03 ddns_update: connected to members.dyndns.org (90.207.238.183) on port 80.
Dec 1 09:35:03 ddns_update: unknown return code: 302
Dec 1 09:35:03 ddns_update: server response: Moved Temporarily
Dec 1 09:35:03 ddns_update: asusddns_update: 1

Can anyone help? I haven't changed any of the settings at all. I've tried disabling and re-enabling the DDNS client but still no luck.

My Settings:
Enable the DDNS Client: Yes
Server: WWW.DYNDNS.ORG
hostname: myhostname.org
username or email address: my dyndns.org username (I've tried my email address too)
Password: mypassword
Enable Wildcard: No
Force Refresh Interval: 21 days
WAN IP and Hostname Verification: No

Hah! Tried browsing to members.dyndns.org through web browswer and turns out it's blocked by my new ISP (which I just switched to today). Turned the ISP "Shield" off and all is now working! Phew!

FYI: Sky Shield blocks the members.dyndns.org url.

You changed 2 things at the same time!

Glad to hear you fixed it. By the way, the built-in Asus DDNS is outstanding and so simple to set up. The only snag in 3 or 4 year’s of my using it was down to my own fault.

Sounds like it's time for a new ISP.... blocking DDNS?
