Hi,

I have hooked up my ext3 USB disk to my RT-N66U and it shows up and works fine. It's appears at 'sda5'. If there a way to have the disk show up with a friendlier name like for instance "Media" or does it have to be the dev name?

Through ssh/telnet:
Code:
tune2fs -L Media /dev/sda5

To clarify: To get a "friendly" name, set a label on the partition. You could do it from the router, as Rmerlin shows, or any other way. (I have partitioned my USB disks using EaseUS Partition Master on my Windows machine, it can handle and format ext2/3/4, set labels, resize partitions etc.)
