I am looking to attach a USBv3 32gig memory stick to my RT-AC68P. I am only interested in accessing it from PCs on the LAN via Windows. The various options available are confusing. Is it necessary to do anything other than just attaching the memory stick to the USB3 port?

Under USB Applications click on "AiDisk" to use the configuration wizard to setup secure sharing.

After that you will need to configure your client computers to access it.

Thanks for the response, AiDisk says "Share files in the USB disk through the Internet" Since I don't want to share the USB stick drive over the Internet, just access it from devices on the LAN, should I configure AiDisk?

AiDisk is just a step-by-step configuration for USB Applications (Samba, Media Server, FTP, NFS).
