So I finally decided to try the USB 2.0 share a USB key or USB HDD feature on my RT-AC68U. One thing left me puzzled. It asks for my router user id and password... when I try to view the contents of the USB key.. .which of course works.
But then whats the point of this? You cant hand out your user ID and password to other people. So its a nice feature for a single person but useless for family and others on your LAN. What have I missed? I don't see any option to create user ids for family members that are on the LAN?
