Use a VPN service with an asus dsl-n55u

Hi

looking for a little advice, have this router at the moment and it works fine. But I am looking to sign up to a VPN service so was wondering if this is possible with this router. I understand that its the DSL part that makes a difference regaurding what firmware I can use.

Any help would be much appreciated.
