Vaesel can you work the same magic for the RT-AC66u that you have worked out so beautifully for the AC68u? Suggest for us a bootloader to start with (that works as nicely as 1.0.2.0 US for the AC68u), and suggest for us the exact CFE edits and nvram sets to boost AC66u transmit power to the max under latest Merlin firmware?
Also do you know if it's as easy to adapt a CFE/bootloader for the AC66u as it is for the AC68u? That is to say, to adapt a CFE for the AC68u all you have to do is look for the "mac" string in 3 places with a hex editor, and copy and paste in the 3 ethernet mac addresses from the original bootloader to the new one. Is it that simple for the AC66u too?
