Hi ,
I flashed an AX5400 with the firmware "3004.388.6_0-gnuton1"

Everything is going very well so far..

But what I noticed is that every now and then I have short disconnects (WAN LED is red for a short time) and the internet is gone for a short time

My modem seems to be permanently connected, see screen. The picture was taken 5 minutes after a disconnect

Now I don't really understand the log from Asus, where exactly do I have to look for the log from the WAN?

It would be really nice if someone could help me

After flashing the @GNUton fork for your router, did you perform a full reset to factory defaults?

Did you use a saved backup config file afterward?

Unfortunately the WAN connection is still failing and I don't know why... here's a log, maybe you can help me -.-

Nobody has an idea yet? I completely reset the AX5400 again and set it up again without importing a backup, unfortunately still 2-3 disconncets a day

Speak to your ISP or look at their forums. You might need some sort of special configuration when not using the equipment they supply.

I'm in contact with my provider and he said I should let the Vigor dial in via PPPoE... but then I have double NAT -.-

That would have been my suggestion as well. At least you could try that and see if the disconnection problem goes away.

YES, I will test it because the DSL sync remains, it is only the PPPoE session that breaks down

Hi me again :)

I've now had the PPPoE connection made on the Vigor and everything seems to be running smoothly

PPPoE uptime is 23 hours

So my line seems to be running smoothly but the Asus has a problem with the PPPoE

Hmm...
Pre FTTP my combos included:
Vigor 130 > RT-AC68U
Vigor 130 > RT-AC86U
Vigor 166k > RT-AC86U
Vigor 166k > GT-AX6000
All via Vodafone UK and I never had any router PPPoE issues.
I recall from somewhere (possibly kitz.co.uk) that it's very important that you have the correct hardware version of the Vigor modems for your country. There were people in the UK struggling to get versions of the Vigor 166 & 167 that they'd bought off eBay to work, due to the hardware being the incorrect version for their country.

For many people, the 167 seems to be running smoothly with Deutsche Telekom and 1&1...

Here in the country he owns the Telekom line and 1&1 has only rented it

Brief info I found the error by chance and it's the Asus router even though it doesn't actually make any sense

Disable UPnP and the connection is stable

Here it was the same solution
