I understand how a VPN works,by changing your IP address, but how do the smart DNS services that VPN company offer work.? I am asking because when I use a VPN to stream via a Roku device I can stream all US content like Hulu and amazon and I also get access to a service called fandango.Fandango is a pay per movie service that provides the latest releases like stuff still in the theatres. Now when I stream using a DNS proxy server I still get access to all US content like Hulu and amazon but I don't get the fandango store app .Why is that?Ps forgot to mention that I am streaming US content from Australia and am assuming that fandango store is based in the U.S.
