New Around Here
Hi,
I don't know if this is the right section to ask this question, because it is marginally about VPNs, if I made a mistake I apologize.

On an Asus router (RT-AX58U) with Asuswrt Merlin (3004.388.8_2) I can't find the option to automatically start a VPN (with OpenVPN protocol) when the router starts.

On an older router, equipped with firmware 386.14 I find the item "Automatic start at boot time" under: VPN -> Client VPN, in the section "Client control".

Is there something similar for the RT-AX58U router with Merlin 3004.388.8_2? Where can I find it?

Thanks for your help,
Attilio

Code:
3004.388.8 (21-July-2024)
  - CHANGED: Removed stop/start and "Start with WAN" buttons from
OpenVPN clients. There is now just a single
"Enable" option, which will immediately start the
client when applying changes, and will also start it
automatically when WAN comes up. This is to reduce
confusion, better integrate into SDN, and match how
             WireGuard clients already worked.

Tested and working.
