Vpn client / traffic analyser

I noticed that the clients I have redirected through the openvpn client only have uploaded data and 0 downloaded when looking at traffic statistics for these devices.

Is that expected behaviour and if so what is the reason?

I am not using policy based routing, using a fw script executed when vpn comes up redirecting all traffic thru the client tun interface.

Presumably the tun interface is not measured? But how come there is upload data?

So I am putting it down to ASUS code not being quite up to scratch on this yet judging by other posts which mention they are still working on it. I can see by running an ifconfig data coming in and out of the tun interface.

I also noticed a bug in traffic analyser when you look at traffic for a particular device, if you then look at a different specific device data for that device gets added to the total of the device you previously viewed and again each time you change device until you refresh the page.
