New Around Here
Good Day,

Currently using witopia VPN. When using Viscosity via MAC OSX there's an option to force an specific DNS on connection (connection to New York server and using New York DNS I get no reduction in bandwidth. 16 MBPS Download without VPN same speed connected through NY VPN).

I'd like to be able to force the same DNS when connecting to the same server through ASUS openVPN client since I'm getting a big drop in speed (normal=16 MBPS ASUS openVPN client=3 MBPS).

How could I force a specific DNS once connected to VPN?

Thank you very much In advance.

Even if you forced a DNS, you would still connect through the VPN. What you need is to selectively route around the VPN.
