Once again, this old mind is confused?
Is VPN included in some routers (VPN fusion- not sure what it is) or do you always need a paid subscreption...I.E. Surfshark or Express VPN types? If you want a VPN service.

Thank you.

VPN is a technology that allows to create a secure tunnel between two endpoints.

That being said, you will need to be more precise as to what you want to do with that VPN, because your question cannot be answered without you saying what you want to do with a VPN connection.

I would like to have private Internet search and viewing, no tracking or logging of sites visited.

We have discussed this subject already, no?

With commercial VPN services you replace your physical ISP with virtual ISP and count on what they promise in advertisements. Physical ISP knows what commercial VPN service you use, virtual ISP knows what you do online. Since commercial VPN servers are well known - you'll be asked to authenticate more often, some sites will refuse service to you, you'll get limited Internet speed and higher latency. Overall your Internet experience will be worse.
