VPN router on AIS

New Around Here
Hello all.

I have a a separate VPN router (for ExpressVPN) that I have used for years to link my Roku for USA access. The VPN router goes through the AIS router. This has worked fine until we upgraded the AIS service and received a new AIS router. Now my VPN router cannot access the VPN servers, but can access the normal internet. I have talked to ExpressVPN support but it seems to boil down to the AIS router blocking the other (VPN) router. Has anyone else experienced this problem? And more importantly, have a workaround?
Bridging the AIS router was suggester, but then I lose the local AIS wifi as the VPN router is always connected to the VPN server.

Thanks, g

I am now experiencing this issue. Use ExpressVPN, recently had service wherein AIS replaced my routers. Since then, internet service is intermittent. Seems possible, they are location blocking. Connecting to EpressVPN servers in Thailand kills my internet service completely. Using a US based ExpressVPN location, like Chicago, sometimes works, sometimes not. Did you ever get any further feedback, confirmation, or resolution?
