VPN Service DNS & DoH

I am changing VPN provider and would like to use their DNS only.
I have VPN client set up on router working correctly except that I am not getting their DNS server exclusively.
Connection to internet only works I I set DNS Privacy Protocol to DNS-over-TLS, if set to None no internet connection.
There must be another setting in play but I really don't know what I am doing.

Set DNS mode to Exclusive on the VPN settings.

No need to change anything on the WAN page.

Changed Accept DNS Configuration to Exclusive in VPN client settings - connecting and seeing VPN provider's DNS only.
