WAN Connection issues after upgrading to asuswrt-merlin 380.61

Linus

New Around Here
Hi Eric, et. al.

I have been using asuswrt-merlin for some time. It has been fantastic and i have never faced any issues after all my upgrades, until i upgraded to 380.61.

My WAN connection has been dropping intermittently since the upgrade. It becomes stable for couple of hours after i reboot it, before becoming unstable again (and the whole cycle repeats). I have been monitoring the syslog and not finding anything useful ... (Pls see attached excerpt..)

FYI - I am running a VPN client and using selective routing rules. I have also enabled "block WAN access to clients if VPN tunnel is down" option..

I would be reverting back to 380.59 via recovery mode and configuring all over this weekend, if all else fails.

Appreciate any advise.

Linus

There's an Ethernet link message in the log, so check your modem and your ISP.
