Watchdog 274?

Set up my RT-1900ACP. I’m really enjoying the new found wireless range. New to all of this, so go easy. :)

I’m on the latest Asus official firmware release: 3.0.0.4.382_18547-g91c580f

After I updated to this firmware, I restored to factory defaults as recommended.

I didn’t notice this issue yesterday after the update, but this morning I keep getting this message under System Status/ Status. If I click back and forth between 2.4/5GHz, menus load and function properly. I don’t see the message below.

If I choose Status, then click back to 2.4/5GHz it won’t allow me to access those menus. Then I click Status again and the message below pops up. Router then restarts the interface. I also get a Watchdog 274 messsage in my log. I wasn’t and didn’t make any changes. Nothing happens to my internet connection. I stay connected. I’m simply navigating the interface.

I posted a couple of pics of the messages. Has anyone seen this issue? What could be causing this? Thank you.

“Settings have been updated. Web page will now refresh.

Changes have been made to the IP address or port number. You will now be disconnected from RT-AC1900P.

To access the settings of RT-AC1900P, reconnect to the wireless network and use the updated IP address and port number.”

This message indicates that the web server crashed, and the watchdog service automatically restarted it when it detected that.

Thanks, Merlin.

It keeps happening. I can replicate it consistently. I did notice in the bridged modem log, that the internet went down early in the morning for about 20 mins. Could this have triggered this?

Sorry for newbie questions.

Doh!

Spoke to Asus and first thing rep says: do you have it plugged into Ethernet cable while navigating GUI? Of course, ‘newbie on steroids’ here did not. When on wireless, I get this load error. Wired it’s perfectly fine.

Thanks to all and sorry for wasting your time.
