It has more features for sure. I don't know however how bug-free these new feature are at this point, I haven't been keeping track. Too many unique scenarios that might possibly still cause issues, where people try to make some really weird setups that nobody but them ever considered doing... All I can say is that 3006 has been working fine for me on my RT-BE96U.Exciting news! So does this mean you think the 3006 firmware is at a point now where it's an improvement over 3004 on these devices?
Asus hasn't announced any plans to upgrade any other WIfi 6 devices to 3006 beside those based on HND 5.04/BCM4912 CPU.Great news. Is asus at the point of determining whether more devices (and which) will be ported over to 3.0.0.6? I understand 3.0.0.6 is or was developing still and was spotty at best on current routers using the latest version.
This means ?based on HND 5.04/BCM4912 CPU
Do you think there are any chances for update for BCM4908-based routers like RT-AX86U?It has more features for sure. Some people just like enabling every single feature they can see until at some point something crashes down.

Should be. I got the last missing model GPL late last night, and I fixed the compiling issues affecting some of these models just before going to bed. I still need to ensure that they do boot properly. So far I only tested the RT-AX88U_PRO and RT-AX86U_PRO.Just curious will we be able to test this soon ?
I have an AX88U Pro I can help check for issues.
I don't remember what the previous version was. Don't base it just on the date tho, that only indicates the date Asus compiled them for the GPL archive. I did see a number of changes at the SDK and kernel level, so that's possible.Looks like it comes with new WiFi drivers too.
Incredible! Does this mean RT-AX88U will use the same GPL as well?
What news, if any, on bwdpi?I don't know however how bug-free these new feature are at this point
The bwdpi issues were specific to Wifi 7 models AFFAIK, unrelated to the firmware codebase itself. What news, if any, on bwdpi?
Are those WiFi 7 models still broken? Will the QoS Classification page function again on 3006.102.4?The bwdpi issues were specific to Wifi 7 models AFFAIK, unrelated to the firmware codebase itself.
