@dlandiss sfx was talking about WMM, rather than WMM/APSD.

Thank you, but the GUI of my AC68U / John's Fork has no plain "WMM" choice. Perhaps it is under another name? The acronyms ASUS uses are not necessarily well-known.

WMM is always enabled....you cannot turn it off. WMM APSD is a power savings extension that uses some packet scheduling algorithms that you can choose to enable or disable.
 
Thank you for a clear and concise reply. That explains why I could not find the setting, and makes the rest of the discussion about it moot.

That makes RouterGuide's recommendation redundant.
