Good day

going to install cordless security cameras outside and instructions say they are 2.4 only. Just wondering what are some good options for this for Wi-Fi router/AP?

thanks

You perhaps need an outdoor AP. TP-Link has some very affordable models. EAP110-Outdoor is a 2.4GHz long range AP. The dual-band 2.4/5GHz option is EAP225-Outdoor. Both are under CAD100.

I'm sure your Recent Purchase will be more than capable.
Are the cameras EVANGELION, also?

FWIW I would stay away from wireless cameras, and hard-wire if at all possible.
lol if I only had that kind of money. Current AP is in the garage N66U, maybe it is good enough who knows. Hardwire, ya I hear ya, dont feel like drilling though steel and concrete and who knows what else. Cameras........Eufy.........it starts with an E ;)

You are talking to an engineer. Of course he has Gaming cameras.
Mechanical Eng........................pin hole cameras ;)
