Wi-Fi/AP 2.4ghz good range and stable for outdoor security cameras

going to install cordless security cameras outside and instructions say they are 2.4 only. Just wondering what are some good options for this for Wi-Fi router/AP?

You perhaps need an outdoor AP. TP-Link has some very affordable models. EAP110-Outdoor is a 2.4GHz long range AP. The dual-band 2.4/5GHz option is EAP225-Outdoor. Both are under CAD100.

FWIW I would stay away from wireless cameras, and hard-wire if at all possible.

lol if I only had that kind of money. Current AP is in the garage N66U, maybe it is good enough who knows. Hardwire, ya I hear ya, dont feel like drilling though steel and concrete and who knows what else. Cameras........Eufy.........it starts with an E
