WiFi 7 Wireless Backhaul Issues with GT-BE98 Pro Routers

I’m trying to connect two GT-BE98 Pro routers using wireless backhaul, but I’m only getting max speeds around 5000mb/s, through the single 6ghz radio, which is disappointing for these routers. I’ve tried both AiMesh and Media Bridge setups.

When connecting a BE88U to a BE98 Pro, I also get dismal speeds, around 2500mb/s, over the single 5GHz connection.

Does Asus need to release a firmware update to enable WiFi 7 backhaul with MLO for these routers, or should we request this functionality from Merlin now?

It feels like Asus overlooked this aspect when launching their WiFi 7 routers.

5000 Mbps is very fast. It depends on distance between them, how far are they from each other?

BTW- MBps and Mbps are two different rates/speeds, just in case you weren't aware...
